Sustaining Strategic Partnerships

Thanks to B2Gold, all ACFA children and students at the Zorokoro Children’s Complex school now have new backpacks and adequate school supplies.  Donated school supplies included books, notebooks, mathematics kits, school kits, calendars, etc. These materials will serve ACFA constituents for years to come!

ACFA’s school, which consists today of 3 kindergarten classes, and an elementary school with with 1st through 4th grade classes, supports ACFA children and over 130 other children from 8 surrounding impoverished villages.  Our holistic educational program includes, in addition to the theoretical curriculum in the classroom, vegetable garden hands on training, physical fitness training, and access to books and computers at our community library and computer lab.

ACFA’s partnership with Canadian Company B2Gold resulted in their financing the construction of our community library and computer lab at the Complex. 

Inaugurated in 2024, the state-of-the-art building has already served hundreds of children and adults from the most vulnerable areas of Mali.  B2Gold’s support remained consistently generous as they’ve also made donations towards ACFA’s nutrition program, including the recent donation of a cow for Eid celebrations, and several months supply of sugar.

These actions have made a meaningful difference in our children’s lives!
